Airlines
Our Front Desk team (dial 0) will be pleased to assist you with airline reservations, changes, confirmation, or airport transportation needs.
Airport
The Edmonton International Airport is normally no more than a 40-minute drive (approximately 32 km). We suggest that you allow at least 90 minutes for check-in, immigration, and customs formalities.
Business Centre
Located in the lobby, our business centre offers a wide range of services and equipment. It’s open 24 hours with key card access only.
Call/Message Forwarding
If you are leaving your room, but expecting an important call or message, please let our Front Desk team (dial 0) know where you will be in the hotel and the call or message will be forwarded to you at that location.
Car Rentals
Our Front Desk team (dial 0) will be pleased to assist you with your booking.
Check-out
Check-out time is 12pm. If you need any assistance, please contact our Front Desk team (dial 0) who will be pleased to assist you. Additional charges may apply for guests who are departing late, and after 6pm a full night charge may be incurred.
For an express checkout, simply drop your key card at the Express Checkout box at the front desk.
Credit Privileges
We honour the following credit cards: Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Discover Card, and Diners Club/enRoute.
Currency Exchange
The Front Desk team can exchange small amounts of US funds into Canadian dollars. For larger transactions, please visit a local bank.
Do Not Disturb Policy
Please note that for safety purposes we must check each guestroom at least once every 24 hours. If your “Do Not Disturb” sign is up for more than 24 hours, our Manager on Duty will contact you to ensure your well-being. Should you be scheduled to check-out, we will respect your privacy until the posted check-out time.
Dry Cleaning
Dry cleaning services are provided by a reputable, independent company with same day delivery. Available Monday to Friday – except holidays. Bring the items to the Front Desk team before 8am for same day return. We act only as an agent and accept no responsibility for lost or damaged goods.
Electric Current
The hotel’s electric current is 110 volts. If you have European electrical items, you will need a converter that will enable the use of items from 220 volts to 110 volts.

Please refer to the “Fire Procedures” section in this directory.
Environmental Programs
If reusing your towels, please hang them up. Should you require fresh ones, please place them in the bathtub and we will provide a fresh supply.
Fax Service
The hotel fax number for incoming transmissions is 1-780-441-3098. If you’ve been sent a fax, please contact the Front Desk team (dial 0) to collect it.
Fitness Centre
Our Fitness Centre is located on the 27th floor. Towels and change rooms are available. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No food or beverages allowed.
Hours: Open 7:00am – 11:00pm daily.
Guests with Special Needs
In case of emergency, your safety is our first concern. Please inform the Front Desk team (dial 0) upon check-in if there is a guest with a disability in the room.
Heating & Air Conditioning
You can use your individual thermostat in your guest room for your comfort. To ensure the cooling and heating in your room is working effectively, please keep the outside doors or windows closed.
Housekeeping
This service is offered by request only before 11:00am. Please contact the Front Desk team (dial 0) for any housekeeping requests.
Ice & Vending Machines
Ice and vending machines are located on selected floors.
Loss/Damage
The hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to any possessions or properties belonging to any person while staying as a guest or patron. If you find that you have misplaced or lost any items during your stay with us, please contact our Front Desk team (dial 0).
Mail & Messages
The message light will flash on your telephone if there is a message for you. Please leave outgoing mail with the Front Desk team. Incoming mail will be held by the Front Desk team for pick up.
Manager
A Manager is always available to assist you. Should you wish to speak to the Manager on Duty, please contact the Front Desk team (dial 0).
Medical
If you require medical assistance, please contact our Front Desk team (dial 0) who will be pleased to assist you. If urgent attention is required, dial 911.
Non-smoking
All guest rooms are 100% non-smoking. The hotel’s lounge and restaurant are 100% non-smoking.
Parking
Primary Parking
– Located at 103 Avenue in the MNP Building (indoor heated parking with 2 levels).
– Charges: $28 per night
– Height Limit: Please note the height restriction is 6’5”. Standard size pick-up trucks will fit if there are no lift kits or roof racks on the vehicle.
– Entry Time Restrictions: Monday to Friday from 5:30 am to 10:00 am. Should you need access during this time, please contact the Hotel Front Desk at 780-428-7111 to arrange access.
– Vehicle Access: The entrance is automated, and the gate will open as you approach with your vehicle.
– Hotel Access: There are stairs in the middle of the parkade that will bring you to the lobby. If an elevator is required, please follow the Tower and Hotel sign, located on the west wall. The elevator offloads in the lobby of the MNP Building. Follow the signs to the Sandman Signature Edmonton Downtown Hotel, on the right-hand side.
– Space is first-come, first-served. No in/out privileges.
Alternate Parking Locations
Bell Tower Parkade
– Located on 103 Street NW (indoor heated parking).
– Charges: $25 for 24 hours (must be paid directly at the facility using their QR code payment system)
– Height Limit: Please note the height restriction is 6’5”. Standard size pick-up trucks will fit if there are no lift kits or roof racks on the vehicle.
– Hotel Access: Connected to the hotel from the 2nd Floor Pedway. Turn right out of the elevators and follow the signs to the Sandman Signature Hotel.
East Parkade
– Located on the corner of 102A Ave and 100 Street (open air parking tower).
– Charges: Parking rates are indicated on the pay stations and must be paid directly.
– Hotel Access: Located on the 2nd floor of the parking lot into the MNP building, follow the stairs down into the MNP building lobby then proceed left past Cookie Love to the hotel lobby.
Limited Street Parking
– Located at the north and south sides of the building during non-peak hours.
– Please note time restrictions posted on the street signs.
Oversized Vehicles
– Impark surface lot on the corner of 101 St NW and 103 Ave NW.
– Charges: $48 per 24-hour period, guests have the option of paying directly at the kiosk or registering their license plate at the hotel.
Note:
– Please read all parking and street signs prior to leaving your vehicle. The hotel will not be responsible for any traffic violation tickets that may be incurred.
– Sandman Signature Edmonton Downtown Hotel does not own or operate any of these parking facilities.
– There are other lots available within short walking distance if parking around the hotel is not available.
– The parking charges indicated are subject to change without prior notice.

We are a pet friendly hotel for guests travelling with pets.
Playpens
Playpens are available as a complimentary special request item through our Front Desk team (dial 0). The number of playpens available is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
